According to Turay, there have been several instances of incompetence and unprofessional behaviour on the part of Dr. Jalloh, which have led to the deteriorating conditions at the hospital. One particular incident has caused a great deal of distress among the residents of Kambia District, involving a 70-year-old woman who suffered excessive bleeding due to alleged mishandling during an emergency situation.

The situation at Kambia Government Hospital has been reported to be in a dire state, as the people of Kambia District are calling on the government to take immediate action to address the crisis. Recent reports have surfaced alleging the conduct of Dr. Jalloh to be unethical and unprofessional. The people of Kambia District are urging the government to investigate the matter and take necessary steps to ensure that the hospital can provide the high-quality care that they deserve.

According to reports, Dr. Jalloh is said to have refused admission to a 70-year-old woman who was involved in a serious accident on March 10, 2024. His reasons for this were allegedly due to his personal wealth and privilege. Dr. Jalloh is said to have claimed that he could not render his services according to government instructions and that he would do what he felt like doing. This statement has sparked outrage and deepened concerns among community members.

It is imperative that the government takes this matter seriously and addresses the concerns of the people of Kambia District. The hospital is a critical component of the community, and the people rely on it to provide quality healthcare services. It is the responsibility of the government to ensure that the hospital is adequately equipped and staffed to meet the needs of the people. The alarming incidents recounted by Turay have left residents of Kambia District feeling disillusioned and lacking confidence in the local healthcare system. Urgent government intervention, particularly from the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, is deemed imperative to address the unfolding crisis.

Turay emphasized the urgent need for Dr. Jalloh's immediate transfer from Kambia Government Hospital due to his alleged unprofessional conduct. The community's plea for swift action underscores the critical nature of the situation and the pressing need to safeguard the health and well-being of residents in  Kambia District.

As the outcry for intervention in the healthcare sector grows louder in Sierra Leone, the government must take immediate and decisive action to address the concerns of its citizens in Kambia District. The healthcare system in this area has been plagued by issues such as lack of trust, inadequate resources, and substandard service delivery, which have caused significant harm to the public health and safety of the region.

It is therefore imperative for the government to prioritize the restoration of trust and quality healthcare delivery in Kambia District to prevent further damage to the lives and well-being of its citizens. Failure to act promptly and effectively could have far-reaching and catastrophic consequences for the public health and safety of the region, which is why the government must take this matter seriously and work towards a sustainable solution.
