Ady Macauley, a former anti-corruption commissioner and APC member, has openly criticized the Sierra Leonean Electoral Commission for neglecting to publish "the whole and completed" voter record. "It is inevitable to draw the conclusion that the reprehensible refusal by ECSL and Mohamed Konneh to provide the complete and disaggregated voter registration three weeks before the election is motivated by a desire to rig the results," Macauley stated.
The former ACC boss thinks that the ECSL wants to exclude some nationals from the country.
But one thing is certain: "We the people will oppose and not accept this awful consequence," he declared.
The previous ACC commissioner has already criticized the ECSL.
The ECSL claimed that while they had already made the voter list public, some of the information had been challenged by APC members.
The ECSL's disclosed voter registration was originally refuted by the previous mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, who claimed that it was different from what the party had asked.
